Paul Pogba: Man Utd’s Newest Recruit?

We have been waiting and waiting and waiting some more to find out where Paul Pogba will be heading this summer and now we want to know when will all be revealed!

In case you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know Paul Pogba has been one of the big talking points of the past few weeks. Will he finally announce his grand return to Manchester United or will he be off to pastures new? Nutmeg is here to give you a round up of the rumour mill.

The majority of papers are claiming that the announcement of a world-record transfer deal is close from Old Trafford but then news was announced by Pogba on Italian Football TV that he would be staying put at Juventus. To be honest, if Pogba stays at Juventus there is going to be an uproar after the length of this mammoth saga. Perhaps the question that is on everyone’s lips is how did the former Man U reject manage to wrangle himself such a (possibly) momentous return?

When Paul Pogba left Manchester United, it wasn’t on the best of terms. When the new was confirmed by Sir Alex in July 2012, Pogba was accused by him of being disrespectful. Since joining Juventus, Pogba has become a force to be reckoned with and was even  nominated for the 2014 Ballon d’Or at the tender age of 21.  Now everyone wants him, but it seems he has some unfinished business at Manchester United.

We’re getting a little bored of this transfer talk but if Pogba is going to join Manchester United then we are beyond excited for seeing him and the mightly Zlatan playing on the same team. One thing’s for sure, this season of the Premier League is looking to be a scorcher and Manchester United might be able to return to their former glory.

Let us know what you think about Pogba and Man Utd on Twitter!
